One of my dear friends’ daughters was baptized the weekend after Charlie’s baptism, and I wanted to do something really special for her. I came up with this baptismal bib, with many of the baptismal symbols: shell, water, light, holy spirit, and, of course, cross.

I wrote with fabric pen at the bottom, noting her Christian name, and the date of her baptism.
I loved the way this came out, and can’t wait for all of my friends to have their babies (I know 7 preggos!) so I can make some for them!

This was a fun twist on the big and little sister shirts! These girls’ aunt ordered them matching name shirts that also tell which one is the lil sis and which is the big sis! I had so much fun making them!

Here’s another lil bro shirt, which was actually won as part of a giveaway. I just love making these!

Jack’s birthday was almost completely homemade. He got a few special gifts from us that I had so much fun making.

First, and his favorite, a shirt based on his favorite show, Dinosaur Train! This was a pain to make, but totally worth it because he LOVES it!
Next a cape for dress up! One one side is a very modified Super Why logo…
and the other a very simplified Captain Pickles logo.
And, of course, every superhero needs a corresponding mask.

He also got a crayon wallet with a pocket for notebooks, stickers, etc.

And finally, an I Spy bag with a handle. He doesn’t quite understand the concept, since he keeps asking me to “open it!” We’ll save it until he’s a little older.
I attached this card to the outside so he can look for particular objects.
