This was a fun twist on the big and little sister shirts! These girls’ aunt ordered them matching name shirts that also tell which one is the lil sis and which is the big sis! I had so much fun making them!

Here’s another lil bro shirt, which was actually won as part of a giveaway. I just love making these!

Jack’s birthday was almost completely homemade. He got a few special gifts from us that I had so much fun making.

First, and his favorite, a shirt based on his favorite show, Dinosaur Train! This was a pain to make, but totally worth it because he LOVES it!
Next a cape for dress up! One one side is a very modified Super Why logo…
and the other a very simplified Captain Pickles logo.
And, of course, every superhero needs a corresponding mask.

He also got a crayon wallet with a pocket for notebooks, stickers, etc.

And finally, an I Spy bag with a handle. He doesn’t quite understand the concept, since he keeps asking me to “open it!” We’ll save it until he’s a little older.
I attached this card to the outside so he can look for particular objects.

Seems like tons of kiddos are becoming big siblings… meaning lots of orders for big/little shirts!
Here is a set of sweet shirts done for a little one coming home to her forever family from China, and her two big sisters here at home!

Next is a Lil Bro Shirt for my youngest, due to arrive very soon. It matches my big boy’s Big Bro shirt.
A set for baby Will and his big brother…
also the recipient of this name banner.

And a set for a brother/sister pair…

I made this lion onesie for Charlie to coordinate with the sweet booties and mittens that I found on clearance at Target. Score!
Then I made this bear shirt for Jack, to coordinate with Charlie’s bear outfit (from Walmart, I think?)
Here’s Jack sporting it at the Des Moines farmer’s market…
Kennison got a bear shirt too, because I had this adorable brown and turquoise corduroy fabric that I thought would be too girlie for my boys.

I’m hoping this nursing cover is going to make feeding Charlie in public places much easier than feeding Jack was! Besides the fact that this time around I’ll also be wrangling a toddler, Jack was always kicking the blanket off, etc.
These covers are reversible, so you can nurse in style depending on your mood, and feature a large pocket with toy (or pacifier, etc.) loop and an adjustable neck. The pocket is either an inside or outside pocket, depending on which way you’re wearing the cover. They also have a piece of boning sewn into them for ventilation and so mama can peek in on the nursing baby. You can see how the front of the fabric “pops” out in the first picture.
This cover is the one I made for myself…

… and this is thes matching burp cloth and wipes case I made with fabric scraps.

Here is a cover I made for a friend to give as a baby shower gift! I appliqued a paw print on the front pocket.
